Privacy Policy

This policy explains how JL Systems LLC handles information when you visit this website, contact Justin, or use the client portal.

Effective November 3, 2026

1. Who is responsible

JL Systems LLC operates this website and is responsible for its business use of your information. For privacy questions or requests, email jls@jlsystemsllc.com.

2. Information collected

  • Contact requests: your name, email, business name, optional phone number and current website, selected service, and project description. Visitor project details are used only to handle your consultation request.
  • Accounts: email, authentication credentials handled by the login service, account identifiers, name, business, and optional profile phone number and website. Justin creates client invitations and may set an initial password, which is not stored as plaintext or emailed. Clients confirm the invitation and choose their own private password. You can edit your contact details and request an email or password change from your profile page.
  • Client projects: assigned project details, summaries, status, next steps, milestones, client actions, next-update and target dates, studio updates, private project messages, and briefs edited by the client or studio. Message authors and brief editors are recorded with account identifiers and timestamps. Project agreements store the exact issued scope, fees, schedule, terms, studio signer, and issue time; acceptance records store the client's typed name, authenticated account identifier, explicit consent, and acceptance time. Invoices store project links, descriptions, amounts, currency, due dates, payment environment, and payment references and settlement times.
  • Technical information: hosting, authentication, and processing providers may handle IP addresses, browser or device information, request metadata, and security or error logs needed to operate the service.

Please do not submit passwords, payment card details, sensitive personal information, or confidential client material through the contact form.

3. How information is used

Information is used to respond to inquiries, assess project needs, prepare briefs, manage accounts, provide project tracking and services, communicate about your request or project, and protect and troubleshoot the website.

A consultation request is not a subscription to promotional emails. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may be based on steps you request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, legal obligations, or consent when required.

4. Studio-prepared project briefs

Visitor project details are used only for your consultation request. The contact form does not send your submission to an AI model, and visitors cannot generate briefs.

Project briefs are a studio-only tool: when Justin chooses to prepare one, the saved project description, selected service, and business name are sent through Lovable AI Gateway to an OpenAI model to generate recommendations and next steps. Contact name, email, and phone fields are not included in that brief-generation request. The gateway and model provider may retain requests, responses, or operational logs under their own terms; this website does not promise zero retention or that providers never use data for model improvement.

Generated briefs are suggestions for Justin’s review, not a quote or an approved project scope.

5. Service providers and sharing

JL Systems uses Lovable Cloud for application hosting, data storage, and authentication, and Lovable AI Gateway and its model providers for studio-prepared briefs and lead reviews. Google Fonts supplies the website’s fonts and receives normal connection information, such as your IP address and browser details, when fonts are requested. Service providers process information needed for their role and under their applicable terms.

When app confirmations and booking alerts are enabled, relevant request details are processed by the email delivery service and sent to you or the studio. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the service. JL Systems does not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Stripe is the primary invoice processor for card payments in your client portal. Square, PayPal, and Venmo are available on request; payments arranged through these services are covered by their own privacy policies. This website’s contact form does not collect payment card details.

6. Payment and security providers

Stripe processes invoice payments through its embedded payment form. JL Systems does not receive full card details. Your authenticated account identifier and email may be sent to Stripe to associate payments with your project. Stripe handles payment and tax-calculation information under its own privacy policy.

Cloudflare Turnstile verifies consultation submissions to help prevent automated abuse. It may process device, browser, and connection information. Verification tokens are checked before the request is saved and are not stored with consultation details.

7. Browser storage

The website uses browser storage to remember your light or dark appearance preference and maintain your signed-in session. Blocking or clearing storage may reset your preference or sign you out. Hosting and authentication services may also use essential cookies or similar technologies. No advertising tracker or marketing cookie tool is configured in this website’s application code.

8. Studio lead reviews

When Justin requests a Claude readiness review, your saved project description, service, business name, generated brief, and linked project summaries, status, next steps, target dates, and edited briefs are sent through Lovable AI Gateway to Anthropic. Contact email, phone, passwords, and project messages are not included in this review. Review results are stored privately for the studio. Anthropic may retain processing data under its terms. Reviews are suggestions; Justin must approve any ready-to-build handoff.

9. Access, security, and retention

Consultation requests and briefs are available to authorized studio administrators. Signed-in clients can access only their assigned projects, messages, and project briefs. Clients and the studio can edit the current project brief; the original consultation description and generated brief remain separate. Portal messages and manual brief edits are not automatically sent to an AI model. Access controls help protect information, but no internet service can guarantee complete security.

JL Systems retains information for as long as reasonably needed to handle inquiries, provide services, maintain business records, and meet legal or security requirements. There is currently no automatic deletion schedule configured for requests or projects. You may request deletion by email; some records may need to be retained for legal obligations, disputes, or legitimate business needs, and provider backups or logs may remain for their own retention periods.

Providers may process information outside your state or country. Applicable safeguards and rights depend on your location and the provider.

10. Your choices and rights

You may choose not to provide optional fields. You can update your basic profile in the portal. Email jls@jlsystemsllc.com to request access, correction, deletion, or closure of your account.

Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to a copy of your data, restriction of processing, objection, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint to your local privacy regulator. Requests may require identity verification and may be subject to lawful exceptions. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

11. Children and external links

This service is intended for business inquiries and is not directed to children under 13. Do not knowingly submit a child’s personal information. If you believe such information has been collected, contact JL Systems to request its removal. External websites and services have their own policies, which this policy does not control.

12. Policy changes

This policy may be updated as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated when required by applicable law.
